    Candidates must fulfil at least one of the following conditions to be eligible for 85% Punjab State Quota seats

    • Born in Punjab OR must be a Permanent Resident of Punjab.
    • Candidates who have studied in Punjab for at least 5 years before their qualifying exam (10+2).
    • Parents must have resided in Punjab for at least 2 years before the NEET UG 2026 exam.
    • Children of Punjab Government employees (including those on deputation outside Punjab) who have served for at least 3 years.
