Overview
If you've qualified for NEET PG 2025 and want to pursue your postgraduate studies in Telangana, admissions are now open for MD, MS and PG Diploma Courses!
The counselling process is handled by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). This counselling round is for the Management Quota/ Competent Authority Quota into Medical Colleges affiliated with KNR University of Health Sciences and NIZAM's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, in the State of Telangana.
It’s important to remember that Management Quota counselling is completely separate from the State Quota process. While State Quota seats are reserved for local candidates at government-determined fees, Management Quota seats are available in private medical colleges, usually at higher fee structures but with more seat availability across multiple specializations.
The 3 subcategories for the Management Quota are:
- MQ1- General Management
- MQ2- NRI
- MQ3- Institutional
The whole process takes place online. Your seat allocation depends on your NEET PG rank, category, and the college preferences you choose during counselling.
Read on to find out more about the Telangana NEET PG Counselling process for 2025.
