Tamil Nadu Domicile Rules

Nativity/domicile may be claimed via:

Study Criteria: Studied classes 1 to 12 in Tamil Nadu.
Parental Domicile: Child of a parent domiciled in Tamil Nadu.
Mother Tongue: Studied in Tamil medium and Tamil is the mother tongue (specific proof needed).

Application Fees (Estimated)

General / EWS: Rs. 2,500 – Rs. 3,000
SC / ST / SC(A): Rs. 1,000 – Rs. 1,500

A refundable security deposit is required after seat allotment.

Management Quota Fees

Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 5,000 are applicable, followed by registration fees of Rs. 1,000, which, again, are non-refundable. As for the security deposit, students are required to pay a refundable amount of Rs. 2,00,000/-.

If a candidate leaves after Round 2 or Mop‑Up, they forfeit their registration fee, security deposit and tuition and must pay a discontinuation penalty (Rs . 10 lakh for Diploma, Rs. 15 lakh for MD/MS).
