1. Eligibility Criteria:

Counselling Process

SRM Medical College Counselling Process

The MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) conducts the NEET UG Counseling for admission into medical courses for SRM Medical College.

1. Online Registration

• Registering for Counseling: Candidates must visit the official MCC website (MCC.nic.in) and register for the counselling process.
• NEET Score: You will need to provide your NEET UG score and rank to register.
• Fee Payment: During registration, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. 
• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit must be paid as well.

2. Choice Filling and Locking

• Filling Preferences: After registration, candidates are required to fill in their choices of colleges and courses (MBBS/BDS). Select SRM medical college in preference.
• Locking Choices: Once you have selected the colleges and courses, you must lock your choices. If you fail to lock, your preferences will be automatically closed at the end of the choice-filling window.

3. Seat Allotment Process

• Result Announcement: After the allotment procedure, the results are released online.
• Rollover of Choices: Candidates who are not given seats in the first round are automatically considered in the future rounds.

• Fee Payment: After document verification, candidates must pay the requisite tuition fee to confirm the seat. 
• Seat Allotment Letter: After confirming the seat, candidates will receive a provisional seat allotment letter.

6. Reporting to Allotted College

• After the seat is confirmed and the fee is paid, candidates are required to report to the allotted college for final admission.
• Candidates must carry the original documents, fee receipts, and allotment letters when reporting to the college.
• Upon successful verification and submission of documents, the candidate is officially admitted to the MBBS/BDS course in the allotted college.

7. Mop-Up Round (If Applicable)

• Mop-Up Round: If there are vacant seats after the initial rounds of counselling, a mop-up round is conducted. Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the first two rounds can participate in this round.
• Eligibility for Mop-Up Round: Candidates who have not joined any college or have opted for a seat but have not reported to the college are eligible to participate.
• Choice Filling: During the mop-up round, candidates must fill in fresh choices for the available seats.

8. Withdrawal and Resignation

• Withdrawal from Allotted Seat: Candidates who are allotted a seat and wish to withdraw can do so. However, they must follow the withdrawal process set by the MCC. 
• Resignation from Seat: Candidates who have joined a college but later wish to resign from the seat can do so as per the regulations of the MCC.
