Admission & Counselling

Step 1: Appear for NEET UG

• Admission to MBBS at SMIMS is strictly based on NEET UG scores.
• Candidate must qualify NEET UG 2025 as per NMC cut-off criteria.

Step 2: Register for Tamil Nadu State Counselling 

• Visit the Tamil Nadu Medical Counselling portal
• Register using your NEET roll number, upload documents, and pay counselling fee.
• Fill in your choices of colleges (including SMIMS) during the choice filling phase.
• Seat allotment is done based on NEET rank, category, and availability.

Step 3: Seat Allotment & Reporting

• If allotted a seat at SMIMS through counselling, download the allotment order.

• Complete the admission formalities, medical test, and biometric verification.

Step 4: Final Admission Confirmation

• Pay the annual tuition fee and submit all required certificates.
