    HIMSR Fees Details

    Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) has different fee structures based on the type of student. For NRI students, there is a specific fee that includes both tuition and hostel charges. For other students, including Unreserved and Muslim Minority, the fee is set separately. The hostel fee is paid when the hostel is assigned to the students.

    HIMSR Admission Process

    The admission process for the MBBS course at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) is as follows:

    1. Admission through NEET UG:
      • MBBS admission at HIMSR is done through the NEET UG counseling conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
      • All the seats (100%) are pooled in the All India Quota (AIQ) for Deemed to be Universities.
    2. Categories and Seats Available:
      • General Category Seats: 52 seats.
      • Muslim Minority by Birth Category: 75 seats.
      • NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign/PIO/OCI Category: 23 seats.
    3. Counseling and Registration:
      • For seat allotment, candidates must register on the MCC official website (www.mcc.nic.in) when the registration process is announced.
      • Candidates need to select Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, New Delhi during the registration.
    4. Post-Seat Allotment:
      • Once the seat is allotted by the MCC, the candidate must complete the admission process at HIMSR.
    5. Important Notes:
      • There is no management quota or Delhi State quota for admissions at HIMSR.

    3. Seat Allotment (Round 1):

      • If seats remain vacant after Round 1, Round 2 of seat allotment will be conducted.
      • Candidates who did not secure a seat in first round or want to change their allotted seat can participate in Round 2.
    5. Final Reporting:
      • After final seat allotment, candidates must complete the admission process at HIMSR by submitting the required documents, making the payment, and fulfilling all other formalities.

    Important Notes:

    • There is no management quota, no Delhi State quota, and no direct/offline admission at HIMSR. All seats are allotted through MCC counseling.
