NEET PG Rank Predictor 2026

Predict your AIR instantly. Plan your next move with confidence.

The moment you walk out of the NEET PG exam hall, the relief lasts about ten minutes. Then the real question sets in: “What rank am I actually looking at?”

Your NEET PG rank shapes the choices ahead — from government MD/MS seats to PG Diploma and private college options. Unlike NEET UG, NEET PG is percentile-based, so your marks only tell the full story when they are viewed against the performance of the entire candidate pool.

That is the gap the NEET PG Rank Predictor 2026 by NEET Support helps close. Enter your marks to get a realistic AIR range built around recent score-to-rank movement. It is free, fast and gives you something practical to plan around while you wait for results or prepare for counselling.

The figures and ranges below are intended for planning. Final ranks, qualifying cutoffs and seat availability are confirmed only through official results and counselling notices.

Why NEET Support

A rank estimate that leads somewhere

Most calculators take a number in, return a number and leave you there. NEET Support treats your predicted rank as the beginning of counselling planning.

The calculation

Why the same score can mean a different rank

NEET PG ranks are relative to the candidate pool. If the paper is harder and scores fall, a 550 may carry more weight than it did the year before. If the paper is easier, the same score may rank lower.

Percentile idea

[(Total candidates − your rank) ÷ total candidates] × 100

What moves your rank?

  • Raw score and the paper’s difficulty
  • Candidate volume and score clustering
  • Category qualifying percentile
  • Tie-breaking: correct answers, incorrect answers and age
  • AIQ, state quota and the course or specialty you choose
  • Mid-cycle qualifying cutoff revisions

Year-on-year context

Has the same score always meant the same rank?

Not even close. Difficulty, candidate volume and shift structure can rewrite the score-to-rank relationship every year.

Cutoff context

The qualifying cutoff can change after results

The qualifying percentile is officially notified, but the effective cutoff marks may be revised during the cycle so enough candidates can participate in counselling.

After your prediction

Your rank is the starting line

Map the range against round-wise closing ranks, course competitiveness, institution type and your AIQ or state quota options. A rank that opens a government PG Diploma seat may not open Radiology or Dermatology at the same institution, so shortlist specialties as carefully as colleges.

While you wait, keep your scorecard, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship completion certificate, category certificate, domicile proof and identity documents ready. Counselling windows move quickly.

What to do next

1

Build a realistic MD/MS specialty shortlist

2

Compare AIQ and state quota closing ranks

3

Prepare your counselling documents

4

Track official dates and cutoff revisions

A realistic promise

Useful for planning. Never a guarantee.

No predictor can know the exact paper difficulty or candidate volume before results. A good predictor gives you a range grounded in historical movement rather than a falsely precise number. Recheck your plan when the official result and counselling notices arrive.
