Eligibility Criteria
NEET PG UP Counselling eligibility criteria is as follows:
1. NEET Qualification: Candidates must have qualified for the NEET-PG-2025/ NEET-MDS-2025 entrance examination. Here is a list of the cutoff scores and minimum eligibility criteria:

2. Internship Deadline: One year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship must have been completed on or before 31st July 2025 for MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses or 31st March for MDS courses.
3. UP State Quota Eligibility:
○ Candidates who passed their MBBS/BDS from a Govt/Private Medical & Dental College of U.P. are eligible for both Government State Quota seats and Private College seats.
○ Candidates who passed their MBBS/BDS from outside of Uttar Pradesh (including AMU, BHU, AIIMS Raebareli, AIIMS Gorakhpur) are eligible only for Private Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities.
Note for Ineligibility: A candidate who has already taken and not completed a PG course based on an earlier NEET entrance examination is not eligible for the NEET PG-2025 counselling.
Registration Process
The UP NEET PG registration is completely online and includes the following steps:
1. Website Access: Online registration is allowed only through the official Uttar Pradesh NEET website.
2. Login Credentials: Candidates must use their NEET-PG Roll No. and the same email ID which they used to register on the NBE website for NEET PG-2025/NEET MDS-2025.
3. Data Auto-Population: Candidate's data (Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, etc.) from the NBE portal will automatically populate and will not be allowed to change.
4. Form Filling: Candidates must fill in details such as domicile, category, sub-category, and In-service (PMHS) employment status, and the MBBS passed form, then enter their address.
5. Password Creation: Candidates will create a Password for choice filling and locking during the registration process.
6. Fee Payment: Payment for the Non-Refundable Registration Fee (₹3,000/-) is required.
7. Final Steps: After successful submission, candidates must download their Registration form and Registration fee slip for reference later.
Counselling Fees
The fee structure consists of two parts: a non-refundable Registration Fee and a refundable Security Deposit.
A. Non-Refundable Registration Fee
● The fee is ₹3,000/-.
This payment covers the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds of counselling.
● A separate registration fee of ₹3,000/- is required
This is for the Stray Vacancy round.
B. Refundable Security Deposit
This deposit must be paid to be eligible for choice filling, and the amount determines the colleges a candidate can opt for:

Counselling Schedule

Counselling Procedure
The process is done in order, beginning with registration and ending with admission.
1. Registration: Candidates shall register online on the official website using the NEET Roll No. and Email ID.
2. Fees Deposit: Candidates shall pay the Non-Refundable Registration Fee (₹3,000/-).
3. Security Money Deposit: Candidates shall also pay the Refundable Security Deposit (e.g. ₹30,000/₹2,00,000/-).
4. Merit List Declaration: UP State Merit List is prepared and declared (with an announced weightage for various In-Service PMHS candidates).
5. Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates may fill as many choices as they wish; however, Candidates shall lock their choices if they wish to receive an allotment. Locked choices cannot be modified.
6. Result Declaration & Allotment Letter: Seats are allotted in a merit-cum-choice manner. Candidates who have been allotted a seat will be required to download an allotment letter. .
7. Admission: Candidates shall report to the allotted college/Nodal Centre to complete the admission process (including fee deposition and document verification).
Round 1 and Exit Policy
● In the first round of counselling, if candidates are unable to take the allotted seat they will be eligible for a 'free exit'.
Service Bond and Debarment
● Compulsory Service Bond: Candidates who are admitted to Government Medical/Dental Colleges are required to sign a service bond for the compulsory period of two years. If they do not serve the period, they will need to pay a penalty of ₹40 Lakh for Degree Courses (MD/MS/MDS/DNB) and ₹20 Lakh for Diploma Courses.
● Stray Vacancy Bar: If a candidate is allotted a seat in the Stray Vacancy Round and does not report/join, the candidate will be barred from UPNEET PG/MDS Counselling-2026, aside from the loss of the security deposit.

Reservation is provided as per the directions of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

● Conversion: During the 3rd round of counselling, any remaining seats can be converted from reserved to unreserved categories.
