Important Notes About UP NEET UG Counselling 2025

    1. Second Round Eligibility: Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the first round, did not join their allotted college, or wish to upgrade their seats can participate in the second round of NEET UG counselling. However, those who joined their seats from the first round cannot apply for upgrades unless rules change.
    2. Mop-Up Round Participation: The mop-up round is primarily for filling vacant seats after the second round. Candidates who registered for the first two rounds but didn’t secure a seat or were not satisfied with their allotment can participate. It also allows fresh registrations for leftover seats.
    3. Stray Vacancy Round Guidelines: The stray vacancy round is conducted to fill any remaining seats after the mop-up round. Only candidates who did not secure a seat in the mop-up round and are still registered for NEET counselling are eligible to participate.

Non-reporting after stray vacancy allotment leads to debarment from UP NEET UG 2025–26 counselling and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Registration and Fee Payment Deadlines: For each round of counselling, including mop-up and stray vacancy, timely registration and fee payment are crucial. Missing these deadlines will disqualify candidates from participating in the respective round. Always keep a close watch on the counselling portal for updates.
