Eligibility Criteria
Before you start your registration, make sure you meet these basic Rajasthan NEET PG eligibility criteria:
1. NEET PG Score- You need to have qualified in NEET PG 2025. The exam is conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations), and you must meet the minimum percentile for your category.
2. Rajasthan Domicile- State quota seats are for Rajasthan domicile candidates. You'll need domicile certificates and other proof to show you're from Rajasthan.
3. MBBS/BDS Degree- Your MBBS or BDS degree should be from a recognized medical college. Make sure your college is approved by the NMC (National Medical Commission).
4. Internship- You must complete your compulsory rotatory internship by the deadline mentioned in the official notification. Keep your internship completion certificate ready.
5. Category Documents- You can apply under different reservation categories. Make sure you have the right certificates if you're applying under:
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section)
- OBC (Other Backwards Classes)
- SC (Scheduled Caste)
- ST (Scheduled Tribe)
- PwD (Person with Disability)

Registration Process
Rajasthan NEET PG registration will happen completely online on the RUHS website.
Right now, RUHS hasn't released the exact dates and detailed steps for 2025 counselling. But based on how it usually works, here's what you can expect:
Step 1: Go to https://ruhsraj.org/ and find the NEET PG 2025 counselling registration link
Step 2: Register with your NEET PG roll number and basic details
Step 3: Fill in your personal, academic, and category information

Counselling Fees
Rajasthan NEET PG fees / security deposit will be announced soon. Usually, the fees are different for different categories. General category candidates pay more, while SC/ST and PwD candidates pay a lesser amount.

Documents You'll Need
While the official document list will be released later, start gathering these certificates now. You'll definitely need most of them:
- NEET PG 2025 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates
- MBBS/BDS degree certificate
- All semester marksheets from your MBBS/BDS course
- Internship completion certificate
- Provisional or permanent registration certificate from your state medical council
- NMC (National Medical Commission) registration certificate
- Rajasthan domicile certificate
- Caste certificate (if applying under SC/ST/OBC)
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificate (if applicable, and it should be valid for the current financial year)
- Person with Disability (PwD) certificate (if applicable)
- Transfer certificate and migration certificate
- 6 Recent passport-size photographs
- Photo ID Proof- Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.
Keep both original documents and multiple photocopies ready. You'll need originals for verification and copies for submission.
Some Pro-Tips:
- Gather the domicile certificate in advance since it can take 2-4 weeks to acquire it.
- Make sure the internship certificate has the proper seal/signature
- Make sure the EWS certificate is for the current financial year
- Make sure all documents have a signature wherever necessary
- Keep multiple digital and multiple copies of all paperwork
- Get your paperwork attested by college authorities before counselling begins for NEET PG 2025

Counselling Process
Rajasthan NEET PG counselling process steps are as follows:
- Online Registration- Follow the steps outlined in the registration process section above to register for the admissions process via their official website. Make sure to retain the application form and the receipt of payment for the application fees.
- Release of Rajasthan NEET PG Merit List 2025- This is basically just a list outlining what candidates will be eligible for counselling for admission into the postgraduate medical program once they have qualified the NEET PG exams. The merit list will include your rank, category rank, allotted college and course.
- Choice Filling & Locking - You have to make your choice, lock it in and submit it before the deadline
- Seat Allotment- Seats are assigned based on the seat matrix, NEET PG scores, seat availability and preferences
- 3 Options Post-Seat Allotment-
- Freeze- Accept the seat, and the counselling process ends here
- Float- Accept the seat, but continue on to the next step of the counselling process to find a better option
- Slide- Stay in the current college, but look for a better branch in the same college
- Reporting & Fee Payment - Once a student is allotted a seat, they must report to the medical college within a specific time frame, usually 3 to 5 days. Payment of fees confirms the student's admission.
Seat Matrix
Rajasthan has seats across government medical colleges and private medical colleges in various government hospitals.
The total number of seats and their distribution between government and private colleges will be announced closer to the counselling dates.

Reservation Policy
For each state, 85% of government college seats are reserved for domiciles from that state. For this reason, a domicile certificate is required to prove the same.
Moreover, each state has its own reservation policies for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Persons with Disabilities, Other Backwards Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and Unreserved/General categories.
The RUHS has not yet released the reservation policy specific to the state. We will update this section once they do. In the meantime, it is important that you pay special attention to their official website to make sure you are aware of their policies

1. Can candidates from other states apply for Rajasthan counselling?
No, the State Quota for Rajasthan counselling requires you to be a domicile of the state. You can, however, apply under the All India Quota (AIQ) or private college management quota.
2. What if my internship doesn’t end by the deadline?
Since one of the mandatory documents is the internship completion certificate, you cannot participate in the PG NEET Counselling for 2025. Therefore, it is essential you complete it before the deadline.
