    • The seat is assigned strictly based on these preferences, so candidates must choose wisely.
    • Options can be edited, rearranged, or deleted before the deadline.
    • If a candidate does not select an option, they will NOT be considered for admission.

    3. Trial Counselling (Mock Seat Counselling) (Optional Round)

    • A Trial Counselling is conducted to give candidates an idea of what seat they may get based on their rank & options.
    • This is not a final seat counselling but helps candidates modify their choices.
    • Candidates can edit their preferences after this round.

    4. First Round of Counselling

    • Candidates are given seats based on their NEET rank, category, and college preferences.
    • Candidates must download their counselling memo and pay the prescribed fee at the allotted college.
    • If a candidate fails to pay the fee or join the college, their seat and remaining options will be cancelled.
    • If not satisfied, candidates can wait for the second round while keeping their higher options.

    5. Second Round of Counselling

    • Candidates who were not given seats in Round 1 OR want a better seat can participate.
    • Candidates must confirm their existing options before Round 2 to be considered.
    • If a candidate gets a new seat, their previous seat is automatically cancelled.
    • If the candidate fails to pay the fee or report to the college, their seat and all remaining options will be lost.

    6. Mop-Up Round (For Vacant Seats)

    • Conducted if seats remain vacant after Round 2.
    • Candidates who did not get a seat in previous rounds can participate.
    • Candidates who have already taken admission cannot participate.
    • This is the last chance for regular admissions.

    7. Stray Vacancy Round (Final Round for Private Seats)

    • Only for Self-Financing Private Colleges if seats remain after the Mop-Up Round.
    • No fresh registration is allowed; only previously registered candidates can participate.
    • Direct admission at the college level based on a merit list prepared by the college.
    • Candidates must visit the college in person to secure the seat.

    Key Points to Remember

    • Options Once Lost Cannot Be Recovered – If a candidate does not confirm their options for the next round, they will lose all remaining options.
    • Seat Upgradation Possible – If a candidate is allotted a seat but wants a better one, they can keep their higher preferences for the next round.
    • Admitted Candidates Must Report & Pay Fees – Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of admission & remaining options.
    • No Fresh Registration After First Round – Candidates must register before the first round to participate in any later rounds.
    • Mop-Up & Stray Vacancy Rounds Are Final Rounds – If a candidate does not get a seat here, they must wait for the next academic year.

Final Advice: Choose your options wisely, confirm choices before each round, and always report on time to avoid losing your seat.
