2. One year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship must be completed on or before 31st July 2025. Keep your internship completion certificate ready.

iii. SC (Scheduled Caste)

4. Candidate must be a citizen of India and a domicile of Karnataka.

Domicile Eligibility: Candidates must meet one of the following requirements to be considered under the domicile rules:

i. Candidates who have passed their MBBS/BDS from a Government or Private Medical and Dental College in Karnataka are eligible for both Government State Quota seats and Private College seats. Candidates who passed their MBBS/BDS from a Govt/Private Medical & Dental College of Karnataka are eligible for both Government State Quota seats and Private College seats.

ii. Candidates have studied in Karnataka for 10 years from 1st to 12th standard, or have parents who were in the state for at least 7 years, and the candidate must have passed 11th and 12th grade from Karnataka.

iii. Candidates whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava, and who meet specific conditions related to their parents' domicile or their own schooling in Karnataka.

NOTE:

Ineligibility: Non-Karnataka Candidates will be ineligible for reservation. However, if they have secured the minimum required 50th percentile or above, fixed for the General (UR) category, they can apply for admission in Karnataka either through the KEA or any other seats in the state.

You need to pay a security deposit only after you are allotted a seat in the counselling process. This is separate from the application fee and is refundable based on KEA guidelines.
