1. Nationality

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2. Domicile Requirement

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand and must provide a valid Jharkhand domicile certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Candidates who completed Class 10 & 12 from Jharkhand but do not have a domicile certificate may not be eligible for state quota seats.
• Non-resident candidates can apply only for the All India Quota (AIQ) 15% seats, not for state quota seats.

3. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum qualifying marks in PCB (as per category)-
  • General- 50%
  • OBC/SC/ST- 40%
  • PwD (General)- 45%

4. NEET 2025 Qualification

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2025 with the minimum required percentile set by NTA
  • General- 50th percentile
  • OBC/SC/ST- 40th percentile
  • PwD (General)- 45th percentile

5. Age Limit

• Minimum age- 17 years as of December 31, 2025.
• Maximum age- No upper age limit as per the latest NTA rules.

6. Reservation Policy in Jharkhand NEET Counselling

• SC: 10%
• ST: 26%
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 14%
• EWS: 10%
• PwD: 5% (Horizontal Reservation)
