Online applications for MBBS/BDS admission in Himachal Pradesh are now open from 20th July to 26th July 2025 (2:00 PM) on www.amruhp.ac.in. Eligible NEET UG 2025 candidates can apply for seats in government and private medical/dental colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for HP NEET UG Counselling 2025

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for MBBS/BDS admissions under State Quota and Management Quota seats in Himachal Pradesh.

General Eligibility

• NEET UG 2025 Qualification: Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2025.
• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. NRIs/OCIs/PIOs can apply under the NRI Quota.
• Minimum Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10+2 (PCB) with English from a recognized board.
  • General Category: 50% marks in PCB.
  • SC/ST/OBC Category: 40% marks in PCB.
  • PwD Category: 45% marks in PCB.

Domicile Criteria for State Quota Seats

• Bonafide Himachali OR
• Children of Himachal Pradesh Government Employees who have worked in HP for at least 2 years OR
• Children of Central Government Employees who have worked in HP for at least 2 years AND completed Class 10+1 & 10+2 from HP.

Age Limit

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.
• There is no upper age limit as per NEET 2025 guidelines.

Application Process

Step-by-Step Online Application Process for HP NEET UG Counselling 2025

Candidates must complete the online application process on AMRU’s official website – www.amruhp.ac.in before the deadline.

Step 1: Registration

• Visit www.amruhp.ac.in and click on "Apply for MBBS/BDS Counselling 2025".
• Enter NEET Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mobile Number & Email ID.
• Verify Email & Mobile via OTP verification.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• Enter personal details, category, and educational qualifications.
• Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature (JPEG/JPG format).
• Enter NEET UG 2025 details (Roll Number, Score, Rank, etc.).
• Select State Quota and Management Quota (if eligible).

Step 3: Upload Documents

• Upload all required certificates in PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
• Ensure document size is less than 1 MB.

Step 4: Pay Registration Fee

• General/OBC/NRI Candidates: ₹2,000
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹1,000
• Pay using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 5: Submit & Print Application Form

HP NEET UG 2025 Counselling – Round-wise Process

The counselling process consists of multiple rounds, including 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

Round 1: Online Registration & Seat Allotment

• Candidates register & submit choices of MBBS/BDS colleges.
• AMRU releases merit list based on NEET 2025 rank.
• Seat allotment is done based on merit, category, and preferences.
• Download Provisional Allotment Letter and report to the allotted college.

Documents Required at College for Admission

• Printout of Application Form & Allotment Letter
• Original copies of all mandatory documents
• Candidates must pay the first-year fees at the time of admission.

Round 2: Re-Registration & Upgradation

• Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 can register again.
• Fresh choice filling is required for upgradation.
• Seat allotment based on vacancies left after Round 1.

Round 3: Final Seat Allotment

Conducted for remaining vacant seats.

• Unfilled reserved seats converted to General category.
• Candidates must pay token fee & submit fresh preferences.

Stray Vacancy Round (Only for Private Colleges)

• Conducted only for vacant seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges.
• Direct institutional-level admissions based on merit.
• No fresh registration allowed; only previously registered candidates can participate.
