Eligibility Criteria
Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality & Domicile
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- Candidates must satisfy the Local/Non-local status as per Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order, 1974.
- Candidates registered as PIO/OCI on or after 04.03.2021 are only eligible for NRI or supernumerary seats and not for seats reserved for Indian Citizens.
2. Age Limit
- Candidates must complete 17 years on or before December 31, 2024.
- No upper age limit for NEET UG 2025.
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with:
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
- Minimum qualifying marks in PCB aggregate:
- General (OC/EWS) – 50%
- BC/SC/ST – 40%
- OC-PwD – 45%.
4. NEET UG 2025 Qualification
Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2025 with the following minimum percentile:
- General (OC/EWS) – 50th percentile (720-162 marks)
- SC/ST/BC & PwBD (SC/BC/ST) – 40th percentile (161-127 marks)
- PwD (General) – 45th percentile (161-144 marks).
5. Andhra Pradesh State Quota Eligibility
- 85% seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges are reserved for Andhra Pradesh Domicile Candidates.
- Candidates must satisfy Local Area requirements as per G.O.P.No.646 and G.O.Ms.No.42.
- AP Non-local (APNL) candidates are eligible only for 15% Unreserved seats.
- Local candidates can apply for both 85% Local Quota and 15% Unreserved Quota.
6. Eligibility for NRI Quota
- 15% of seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges are reserved for NRI candidates.
- Required documents:
- Valid Passport & Visa
- Sponsorship Affidavit from NRI guardian
- Financial Proof for the entire course duration.
7. Non-Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates already admitted into MBBS/BDS in Andhra Pradesh or any other state/country cannot apply again.
- Submission of false documents (Nativity, Community Certificate, etc.) will lead to admission cancellation and legal action.

- No caste-based reservation is applicable.

C. NRI Quota (15% in Private Colleges)
