    Overview

Choosing the right medical council is one of the most important decisions in a future doctor’s academic path. In Andhra Pradesh, between the busy metropolises of Guntur and Vijayawada, the NRI Academy of Medical Sciences (NRIAMS), generally called NRI Medical College, is a well- known institution.

The college was established in 2003 by a group of 32 non-resident Indian doctors who aimed to contribute to healthcare and education in their home country. Since from starting, the institution has grown steadily and is now regarded as a reputed centre for medical studies and healthcare services.

NRI Medical College was created with the ideal of delivering medical education that meets global norms while also furnishing accessible healthcare to the surrounding population. It operates as a private, self- financed institution and is affiliated with Dr NTR University of Health Science, which is now known as Dr YSR University of Health Science, Vijayawada. The college is also officially approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), ensuring its credibility and academic recognition across India.
