Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission:

1. Nationality:
   • Indian Nationals
   • Non-Resident Indians (NRI)
   • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
   • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
   • Foreign Nationals
2. Age Limit:
   • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age by December 31st of the year of admission.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually in the qualifying examination.
   • Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology combined.
   • For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum marks are 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
   • For candidates with benchmark disabilities, the minimum marks are 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
4. Subjects and Education Level:
   • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology together for two years at the 10+2 level.
   • Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from Open Schools or as Private candidates are not eligible.
5. Provisional Candidates:
   • Candidates appearing for the 12th examination can appear for the NEET UG exam, but they must meet the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.

Course Description

The MBBS program at MVJ Medical College is divided into three phases over 4½ years, followed by a one-year compulsory rotating internship:

Phase I (1 Year):

• Pre-clinical subjects: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry
• Community Medicine (exam conducted in Phase III part 1)

Phase II (1½ Years):

• Para-clinical subjects: Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine
• Clinical subjects taught concurrently

Phase III (2 Years):

• Community Medicine and clinical subjects:
  • Medicine and allied specialties (Dermatology, Psychiatry, TB & CD, Radiology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology)
  • Surgery and allied specialties (Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dentistry)
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology

   Internship:

• After completing 4½ years of academic study, students will undergo a one-year compulsory rotating internship at the hospital associated with the college.

MBBS Admission and Counselling Process

Application Process:

• Candidates must apply online for NEET UG and qualify by obtaining the required marks.
• MVJ Medical College follows the NEET UG scores for admission into MBBS.
• Once the NEET results are out, candidates can apply for counselling.

Counselling Process:

• NEET Counselling for All India Quota (15% seats):
