Admission & Counselling

CIMS MBBS Admission & Counselling Process – 2025-26

Total Seats & Quota Division

• Total MBBS Seats: 150
• State Quota (KEA Karnataka): 85% seats (127 seats)
• All India Quota (MCC): 15% seats (23 seats)
• Note: There are no management quota seats at CIMS — all admissions are purely merit-based through NEET UG.

Admission Process Steps

Step 1: Qualify NEET UG 2025

Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET UG 2025 exam.

Step 2: Participate in Counselling

Based on eligibility, candidates must participate in one of the following:

• KEA Karnataka NEET UG Counselling- For Karnataka domicile students (85% seats) Register at official Karnataka State Counselling portal
• MCC All India Quota Counselling- For all India students (15% seats) Register at official MCC portal

Step 3: Seat Allotment

• After online registration, document verification, and choice filling, eligible candidates will be allotted a seat at CIMS.
• Download and print the Allotment Letter from the KEA or MCC portal.

Step 4: Report to CIMS for Admission

• Report to the college campus at Chamarajanagar before the last date mentioned in your allotment letter.
• The candidate must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as their signatures are required.

Step 5: Submit Required Documents

• Submit all required original documents, 3 sets of attested photocopies, and scanned copies in PDF format (in a CD/DVD or Pen Drive).

Step 6: Pay College Fees

• KEA students who have paid tuition fees to KEA must pay the remaining college fees (university registration, lab, library, etc.) at the time of reporting.
• The fee must be paid at Union Bank of India using a challan issued by the college during admission.
