Latest Update
DGMEUP has released the schedule for the 3rd Round of the counselling process for NEET Undergraduate students for 2025.
Overview
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) in Uttar Pradesh has announced the new dates for the third round of counselling. This is an important update for all UP aspirants.
This third round is one of your last chances to get a seat in a government or private college in Uttar Pradesh. The schedule is very tight so you must read this carefully and follow all the steps.
Important Dates
You must remember these dates. If you miss them, you could lose your seat.
- Result Date: The result for the third round of seat allotment will be announced on 4th November 2025 or 5th November 2025. This means you should start checking the official website from the morning of 4th November. Do not wait for the last moment.
- Admission Dates: After the result, you have only 5 days to complete your admission.
- You can download your allotment letter and go to the college for admission from 5th November to 8th November and on 10th November 2025.
- Please note that 9th November is a Sunday and is a holiday. So the last day for admission is 10th November.
This is a very short time. If you get into a college in another city, you must be ready to travel immediately.
Reason for 3rd Round
This counselling is for the state quota seats in MBBS and BDS courses. This includes seats in government colleges and private colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
The most important thing is your eligibility. The notice says that you must check if you are eligible as per the UP NEET UG 2025 rules. This means you are responsible for checking your category, domicile, and other rules. If you are not sure, check the original information brochure now.
Websites to Check
You should only trust the official websites for correct information. Please save this specific website -www.upneet.in
You should check the official website every day for new updates. Don't believe information from other sources. All official news will be there.
Step-by-Step Plan
Here is a simple plan for you to follow.
Check the Result (From 4th November)
From the morning of 4th November, keep checking the official websites for the result. Look for a link that says "Round 3 Allotment Result". You may need your application number and password to check.
Download Your Allotment Letter
As soon as you see that you have been allotted a seat, download your allotment letter. Save it on your phone and take 2-3 printouts. Do this as soon as possible because sometimes the website can be slow later.
Go to the College (5th - 10th November)
You must go to the college where you got the seat. Take all your original documents with you for verification. You will need these documents:
- UP NEET UG 2025 allotment letter
- NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
- 10th and 12th marksheets and passing certificates
- UP domicile certificate
- Category certificate (if you belong to SC/ST/OBC)
- Aadhaar card
- Passport-size photos
At the college, you will show your documents and pay the fees. Only after the college gives you a final admission slip, your seat will be confirmed.

Important Note
The official notice says that this counselling is "subject to Hon'ble High Court orders in Special Appeal No. 295/2025".
This means that if the court gives any new order, the counselling process or dates might change. This is why you must check the official websites regularly. If the court changes anything, it will be updated on the website.
College Reporting
When you go to the college for admission you should follow these tips to avoid problems:
Before Going to College:
- Call the college administration office to confirm their working hours. Some colleges may have special timings for admission days.
- Calculate the total fees you need to pay. Check the fee structure on the official website and take extra money for any additional charges.
- Keep all your documents in a neat file. Make 2 sets of photocopies of every document. This will help the college staff to quickly verify your papers.
At the College:
- First, go to the admission section and show your allotment letter.
- They will check your original documents. Stay calm and cooperate with the staff.
- After document verification, you will get a fee payment slip. Go to the accounts section and pay the fees.
- Keep the fee receipt safely. This is your proof of payment.
- Finally, take the admission confirmation letter from the college. This paper is very important. Make sure you don't lose it.
What to Do If You Face Problems
Sometimes students face difficulties during admission. Here's what you can do:
If you can't download allotment letter:
- Don't panic. The website might be busy.

If you can't reach college in time:
- Immediately call the college and explain your situation.
- If there's a genuine reason like a train delay, inform the college authorities.
- Try to reach before the last date, which is 10th November.
If documents have errors:
- If you find any mistake in your certificates, contact the issuing authority immediately.
- For category certificate issues, approach the district magistrate office.
After Admission Process
Once you complete the admission:
- Collect your college ID card if it's ready
- Note down important contact numbers of college administration
