This comes after December 19, 2025, which was the absolute last date for online choice filling and locking.

Step 1: Log In and Finalize Your Strategy (Morning / Early Afternoon)

• Portal Access: Go to the official UP NEET PG counselling portal (https://upneet.gov.in).
• Review Seat Matrix: If you haven't already, analyze the available seat vacancy list one final time.
• Finalize Your List: Decide the exact order of your preferred MD/MS specializations and colleges. Remember, Choice 1 is your top priority.

Step 2: Execute Choice Filling & Locking (Well Before Evening)

Do not wait until 11 PM. Complete this by 8:00 PM to avoid last-minute server crashes or issues.

1. Enter Choices: In your candidate dashboard, select and arrange your preferences in the designated interface.
2. Save Draft: Save your choices to review the order.
3. VERIFY Thoroughly: This is your last chance. Double-check every entry against your prepared list.
4. LOCK CHOICES: Find and click the "Lock Choices" button. You will likely receive a final confirmation prompt and/or an OTP to your registered mobile number.
