    Reporting

So, in the reporting phase you've got choices to make. You'll be given these 3 options and I'll list out for you exactly what each of them mean so you can make an informed decision that has no scope for regret later on. Your options are accept, upgrade and decline.

    Verification of Joined Candidating

The institute verifies your name in their "Joined Candidates" list sent to MCC.
Your seat becomes officially confirmed and locked.

This verification ensures transparency and prevents errors or fraud. It guarantees that seats shown as vacant for the next round are genuinely empty, finalizing Round 3 officially.

    Round 3 Benefits

Round 3 is your next big chance. Think of it this way: you now have a clearer picture of your options, and many seats are still available. If you got a seat in Round 2, you can try for a better one without any risk. Plus, the competition is often lower, which increases your chances of success.

    FAQs

Can I request MCC to change my allotted seat if it's not the seat I wanted?

Unfortunately, your only options are to upgrade, accept or forego and choose to partake in round 3.

Do I have to make a decision immediately on Result Day to accept, upgrade or decline?

No, you have until reporting/joining to make your decision. So, you can make a well thought out decision.

If I choose upgrade but don't get anything better in Round 3, do I lose my current seat?

Nope! You keep your original seat unless you specifically get and accept an upgrade. It's like having insurance

How long will the results be up for me to check them?

The results will be up throughout the reporting period.
