    Counseling Schedule

The window for using web options opened at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 16, 2025, and closed at 11:30 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2025. During this period, candidates were able to select and lock their preferred colleges. According to the advisory, students ranked on the final merit list, including those under the EWS, PWD, PMC, and CAP categories, were eligible to participate for seats in both government and private (minority and non-minority) medical colleges affiliated with KNRUHS.

    Eligibility for Participation

The eligibility criteria for students to take part in this round is-

    • Those who have completed online registration and uploaded all required documents.
    • Those who had their certificates provisionally verified by the University

Candidates  who had already taken admission to an MBBS/BDS course under the All India Quota (AIQ) or KNRUHS State Quota, or their admission are denied due to proved ineligibility by the central counseling authorities, were not permitted to participate. All the applicants are advised by the University to read the Prospectus and relevant Government Orders carefully before filling in their options to ensure compliance with all admission rules.

    Web Options and Allotment Process

The web options phase is an important part of counseling, as it decides the college allotment based on the candidate’s NEET rank and preferences.

KNRUHS has allowed candidates to choose any number of colleges in order of preference. It was advised to mention only those colleges that are on the choice list of the candidates and they were willing to join. The computerized allotment system processes each list from top to bottom, allotting the first available seat and ignoring all lower preferences. This means that placing colleges in the wrong order could result in being allotted a less-preferred institution. So candidates are requested to fill the choices according to their preference.

Before submission, an OTP (One-Time Password) was sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number for confirmation. Candid——ates were also required to take a printout of their saved options as proof of submission for any future reference or grievance.

    Important Rules and Conditions

KNRUHS enforces strict regulations to prevent seat blocking and ensure fairness:

    • Failure to participate in Round 1 disqualifies a candidate from all future rounds of counseling.
    • Failure to join the allotted college within the specified time leads to cancellation of the admission and permanent disqualification from subsequent rounds.

    Fee Payment Details

Once a candidate receives a seat allotment, he/she has to complete the two given payments that are mandatory and it confirms the admission of the candidate to the allotted college. The two different payments are — the University Fee and the Tuition Fee.

    University Fee – ₹12,000

    • Once the allotment results are announced, candidates must log in to the KNRUHS portal.
    • Pay the University Fee of ₹12,000 online through any of the following modes:
      • 💳 Debit Card
      • 💳 Credit Card
      • 🌐 Internet Banking
    • This payment confirms acceptance of the allotted seat.
    • After payment, candidates can download the Provisional Allotment Order, which is mandatory when reporting to the college.
    • Non-Refundable:
      • The amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
      • If a candidate withdraws or does not join after payment, the fee will not be returned.
    • Candidates are advised to make this payment only after they are sure about accepting the allotted seat.
    1. The Tuition Fee has to be paid to the allotted medical college directly when the student reports for admission. The amount differs based on the type of college:
      • ₹10,000 per year for Government Medical Colleges
      • ₹60,000 per year for Private Medical Colleges, including ESIC institutions

This fee includes the cost of academic instruction and college facilities for one academic year. Students must pay the tuition fee in full at the time of joining, along with submitting all required original documents.

    Reporting and Final Verification

After paying the University fee, candidates must download their allotment order and report to the allotted college within the joining period.

    At the college:

    • All original certificates are verified once again.
    • Any discrepancy or false information results in immediate cancellation of admission.
    • The college retains the original certificates for the duration of the course, returning them only if the student officially discontinues.
