Critical Instructions & Warnings

- Security Deposit Forfeiture Clause: Your security deposit will be forfeited if you do not take admission after seat allotment. It will also be forfeited if you provide wrong information or fail to present original documents during verification.

Today is December 10th. I did not participate in Round 1. What should I do right now?
Immediately go to http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, click on *"Click Here for All Application Submission –JCECEB - 2025"*, fill the form, upload documents, and pay the Application Fee before midnight of December 12th. This is your only entry point.
I am already in the 1st Round Merit List. What do I do from 10th-15th December?
No action is required until December 15th. Your name will automatically be considered for the 2nd round. Simply wait for the Final Merit List on 15th Dec and then proceed to Online Registration & Choice Filling from the 16th.
When and how do I pay the Counselling Fee and Security Deposit?
The Counselling Fee is typically paid during the "Online Registration" phase (16th-18th Dec). The Security Deposit is paid after seat allotment, at the time of admission at the allotted college (23rd-28th Dec). Follow the payment instructions on the portal carefully.
What if I find an error in the Provisional Merit List on 13th December?
You have only one day – 14th December 2025 – to report it. Send a detailed email with your application details and supporting documents (scanned) to controller.jceceb@gmail.com. Do not call; use only the specified email.
Is there any scope for upgrading my seat if I was allotted one in Round 1?
Yes. If you are in the merit list, you can participate in the choice filling (16th-18th Dec). If you get a better/preferred allotment in Round 2, you must take admission to the new seat. Your previous allotment will be automatically cancelled.
