The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board a.k.a JCECEB has officially commenced the schedule for Round 1 for NEET PG 2025 Counselling. Candidates are open to register for the courses - MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB. Students are now open to apply in any college of their choice, Government or Private Medical Colleges alike, Colleges in Jharkhand have begun admissions for the academic session 2025–26.

Important Dates

• Online Application & Document Upload: From 2nd of November 2025 till 5th of November 2025
• Provisional State Merit List is gonna get published on 7 November 2025
• Objection Window (Corrections via Email) are scheduled on 8 – 9 November 2025

• Final State Merit List will be announced on 10 November 2025
• Choice Filling & Seat Allotment Registration are scheduled from 11 of November to 14 of November 2025
• Provisional Seat Allotment Letter:  Candidate will come to know about provisional seat allotment on 16th of November 2025
• Reporting & Document Verification at Institute  will be done on 17 – 20 November 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• NEET PG Qualification:Candidates must have appeared as well as qualify NEET PG 2025 with a valid score as per NMC norms.
• Domicile / Eligibility:The applicant must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand or meet eligibility criteria set for candidates state quota seats as defined by JCECEB.
• Educational Qualification:Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an NMC/MCI-recognized medical college and he/she must be registered with the State or National Medical Council.
• Internship Completion:Candidates must complete their internship before July 2025.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Registration has to be done on the official portal which is https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.inStep 2: After opening the website, find and select “NEET PG 2025 Counselling” under the Postgraduate section.Step 3: Then you can register by entering your NEET PG Roll Number, Date of Birth (DOB), and details.Step 4: Candidates must fill in their personal details, academic details, and contact details carefully in the online application form.Step 5: Then upload scanned copies of all necessary documents such as MBBS degree, internship certificate, NEET PG scorecard, and if applicable then category certificate too.Step 6: After that candidates have to pay the counselling fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.Step 7: Download and print the confirmation page for your records.

• Recent passport-size photographs

• MBBS degree and all mark sheets

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

This is the time for candidates to make their decision and select the college of their liking. Duration of choice filling is from 11 to 14 November 2025. Candidates must log in and select the college of their preference, and lock their choices before the deadline of 14 November.

Then keep an eye out for the provisional seat allotment list which is going to be published on 16 of November 2025 on the JCECEB official website. This list is based on merit and preferences.

All selected candidates must go to their allotted college premises between 17 – 20 November 2025 along with their original documents for verification and all other admission formalities.
