Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who can participate in Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025, must meet the following criteria:

1. They must have qualified NEET PG 2025 with the required percentile as prescribed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
2. They should have completed one year on or before 31st March, 2025.
3. Should have registered with NMC or the respective State Medical Council.
4. For opting State Quota Seats, the applicants must have a domicile certificate of Himachal Pradesh.
5. For All India Quota Seats, candidates from any state are eligible as per NMC guidelines.

How to Register

To successfully register to the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates are required to follow the below mentioned steps:

1. First you have to visit the site - www.amruhp.ac.in.
2. After the site opens, Click on NEET PG Counselling 2025 option.
3. As the counselling page opens, there's an option for registration. Using your NEET PG Roll Number, name, and contact details, register yourself.
4. Verification of your email ID and mobile number must be done through OTP.
5. Log in to fill the online application form.
6. You have to enter your personal details, academic information, and NEET PG score.
7. Upload the scanned copies of the documents that are needed in JPG/PDF format, (50–200 KB).
8. Payment must be done online through debit/credit card or net banking for the registration fees.
9. Click the submit option when all the inputs are filled and you are satisfied and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Required Documents for Registration

Before visiting the site for registration, candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready.:

• Admit Card and Scorecard of NEET PG 2025
• Degree and Marksheets of MBBS
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Certificate of NMC/State Medical Council Registration
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD, if applicable)
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)
• Passport-size Photograph and scanned Signature

Counselling Procedure

After the registration process is over, AMRU will release the State Merit List on the basis of NEET PG scores and categories. Counselling will be started afterwards and conducted in multiple rounds. The counselling process involves the following steps:

1. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates have to select and arrange colleges and courses in order of their preference.
2. Allotment of Seats: Seats will be allotted on the basis of rank, category, and preferences.

4. Admission Confirmation: At the reporting college or venue, payment of fees must be done once the verification completes. After that the seat will be confirmed.

Those candidates who are not in the selected candidates’ list and could not secure a seat in the first round will automatically considered eligible for Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round, depending on the availability of seats.
