A number of major updates have been released for the 2025 admission cycle. The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala, has opened the doorway for thousands of aspirants preparing to secure seats across Kerala's most prestigious professional programmes by activating multiple new candidate portals for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

CEE conducts Entrance Examinations and Centralized Allotment Process for the following courses: Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Agriculture, Veterinary, LLB, LLM, B. Pharm - Lateral Entry, PG Medical, PG Nursing, PG Dental, PG Ayurveda, etc.

Every year, lakhs of candidates depend on the Commissionerate to ensure a policy of fair, transparent, and merit-based admission based on the communal reservation policies of Kerala. With the opening of new portals and active admission windows for 2025, CEE Kerala has again risen to work out the academic journey of students in an orderly manner across the state.

Understanding the Role of CEE Kerala

The Entrance Commissionerate is the statutory body entrusted with the following:

    • Conducting entrance examinations across various professional streams • Preparation of merit-based rank lists • Managing reservation-based allotments • Running the single window system known as CAP • Publishing counselling schedules, notifications, and guidelines

Among the most admired features of the admission process of Kerala is the Centralised Allotment Process. It ensures orderly, transparent, and effective seat allotments for which candidates can make choice lists online, check allotments in real time, and secure admission based strictly on merit and reservation norms.

With each year's admission cycle, new application modules and course-specific notifications are added, updating CEE's portals. The session 2025 witnessed one of the highest numbers of newly launched candidate portals across UG and PG levels.

    Major 2025 Admission

The different new portals in UG & PG categories have been published on the CEE Kerala website. Here is everything new for the 2025 admission cycle.

    1. Undergraduate Admissions Portals - Updates 2025

    a) KEAM 2025 – Candidate Portal

The KEAM 2025 portal is now open for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Medical-allied courses, excluding MBBS/BDS, which comes under NEET-based allotment. Candidates can log in and begin pre-admission activities once notifications are issued.

    b) Integrated Five-Year LL.B 2025 – NEW

The University has opened a fresh portal for candidates who apply for admission to the Five-Year Integrated LLB programme. This is essential for aspirants of law who are going to complete their 12th standard in 2025.

    c) Three-Year LL.B 2025 – NEW

The Three-Year LL.B 2025 portal is also newly activated. Graduates seeking admission to a professional degree in law through government law colleges of Kerala will use this platform for application, rank list, and allotment.

    d) B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) 2025 – NEW

CEE has opened a new portal for the lateral entry scheme into the second year of the B.Pharm course. Another application portal has also been opened only for fresh registrations.

These UG updates ensure that admission in streams of law and pharmacy is smoothly carried out for students, keeping in mind the standardized selection system of Kerala.

    2. Postgraduate Admissions Portals: Highlights — 2025

The largest growth this year has been in the postgraduate sector, with numerous new portals launched across the professional disciplines.

    a) PG Medical 2025 – Candidate Portal (NEW)

Following the release of the Provisional Rank List and Category List of Kerala NEET PG 2025, the PG Medical portal for MD/MS, PG Diploma, and DNB seats (State Quota) has opened; as such, the counselling cycle has started for medical aspirants.

A dedicated portal has been created for DNB Post-MBBS 2025 admissions. Aspirants can now register, upload documents, and undergo counseling through this direct interface.

    c) PG Ayurveda 2025 – Online Application (NEW)

A new portal has been added for M.Pharm 2025 admissions. This means that, with both application processing and portal-based verification, a centralized system for pharmacy graduates has now been put into place for their PG entry.

The Importance of These Updates to the 2025 Aspirants

With the opening of several new portals, the 2025 admission process indeed is one of the most structured, diversified, and student-friendly processes ever carried out by CEE Kerala. The aspirants belonging to all streams, such as Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Ayurveda, and Homoeopathy, now have dedicated and streamlined systems for:

    • Applications • Document uploads • Profile verification • Publication of rank list • Option registration • Final allotments under CAP

This eliminates the confusion brought about by scattered notifications and ensures all updates reach the candidates through a single gateway: the official website of CEE Kerala.

Why Kerala's CAP System is Unique

Kerala continues to be one of the most transparent states in India as far as higher education admission is concerned. The Centralized Allotment Process ensures:

    • 100% Online Counselling • Exacting merit-based seat distribution • Fair Treatment of Group Quota • Without offline manipulations and middlemen • Time-bound procedures • Full public disclosure of findings

By opening all UG and PG portals much in advance, the Commissionerate gives students ample time to prepare documents, complete formalities, and monitor notifications without any last-minute rush.
