    Overview

The Bihar NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling is conducted for admission to Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS) courses in government and private medical colleges across the state under the Bihar State Quota. This round is designed to fill seats that remain vacant after the first round of allotment and to allow candidates to upgrade their choices.

A critical feature of this round is the "Free Exit" provision, allowing Round 1 allotted candidates to resign without penalty before participating in Round 2. The entire process is managed online by the BCECEB, emphasizing transparency and candidate autonomy.

    FAQs

I was not allotted any seat in Round 1. What should I do on Dec 13–14?

No action is required. The Free Exit window does not apply to you. Simply wait for Registration to begin on December 16th and proceed from there.

When will we know which seats are available for Round 2?

The Updated Seat Matrix will be published on the BCECEB official website on December 16, 2025. This list will show college-wise and branch-wise vacancies.

What happens after I download the allotment order?

After downloading your Provisional Allotment Letter (from Dec 23–27), you MUST physically report to the allotted medical college between December 25th and 27th for document verification and fee payment. This is mandatory to secure your admission.

Is there any counselling round after Round 2?

If seats remain vacant after Round 2, BCECEB may conduct a Mop-Up or Stray Vacancy Round. This will be announced separately on the official website after Round 2 admissions are complete.

Where do I complete the Free Exit process?

The Free Exit option will be available within your candidate login portal on the BCECEB counselling website. You will likely find an option to "Resign" or "Free Exit" during the specified window.

Remember: The next 15 days are significant. Candidates must act with precision, especially regarding the Free Exit decision and the tight registration window. Use the time before December 16th to research colleges, prepare documents, and decide on your choice of filling strategy. Note, in centralized counselling, your careful planning and timely execution are as important as your NEET-PG rank.
